Reading the flame before pricing it
Seattle winters are damp indoors as well as out, and Wolf itself lists heavy humidity, along with dust from building work, among the reasons a gas flame turns orange or yellow without anything being broken. So the first job is to rule the room out. We check that caps and rings sit true, that the burner is clean and dry, and that the unit is set up for the gas it actually receives.
